Thanks to all of the artists who have submitted works so far!

Welcome

Welcome to the news blog for Sound Through Barriers.

This is a recording of three untitled works by sound sculptor Harry Bertoia, sited in a fountain in front of the Aon Center in Chicago, Illinois. Vertical metal rods placed close together are activated by the wind off of Chicago Harbor, Lake Michigan, causing them to ping off one another.
